Start with the intended use
Explain whether the item identifies packaging, labels equipment, promotes a business, decorates a display or provides simple cut lettering. Indoor and outdoor locations can create different requirements, so do not assume one material or finish suits every job.
Describe the surface
Tell us what the sticker or lettering will be applied to and whether the surface is smooth, curved, textured, painted or exposed to cleaning. Photographs can help with an initial discussion. Material compatibility, adhesion and expected performance must be confirmed for the specific application.
Confirm size, shape and quantity
Provide finished dimensions and quantity. If several sizes, names or versions are involved, list them separately. Straightforward shapes may be produced differently from detailed contours, so the cut line and artwork need review before production.
Printed sticker or cut lettering?
Printed stickers can carry detailed colour artwork, photographs and several design elements. Cut vinyl lettering or simple shapes may suit names, numbers and uncomplicated graphics where the background surface becomes part of the design. The appropriate option depends on the artwork and application.
Prepare suitable artwork
Supply the best available logo or design file and confirm the exact wording, colours and cut shape. Avoid relying on screenshots or small web graphics where an original file exists. A proof should be checked for spelling, size and layout before approval.
