Working with us
Terms and Conditions
These terms explain how quotations, custom orders and services from Time for Designs are handled.
Last updated: 25 August 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply to quotations, orders and services supplied by Gavin O'Dowd, a sole trader trading as Time for Designs from 98 Friar Street, Cashel, Co. Tipperary, E25 Y578. They should be read with the quotation or order confirmation for the particular job.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.
2. Quotations and scope
A quotation is based on the quantities, materials, specifications and services stated in it and is valid for the period shown on that quotation. A change to the brief, quantity, artwork, specification, collection or delivery requirement may require a revised quotation.
An order is accepted when we confirm it and any agreed approval or payment requirement has been completed.
3. Artwork and approval
The customer must have permission to use all names, photographs, logos, trademarks and other material supplied to us. The customer is responsible for checking spelling, dates, telephone numbers, dimensions and other details shown in a proof.
Production may begin after the customer approves the proof. Changes requested after approval may involve additional work or materials and may affect the completion date. We will explain any additional charge before carrying out that extra work.
4. Colour, materials and production
Colours shown on screens or ordinary office printers may differ from finished materials. Reasonable variations can occur between materials, production methods and batches. We will discuss requirements for precise colour matching, dimensions or positioning where these are important to the order.
5. Payment
Payment terms, including any deposit or staged payment, will be shown on the quotation or invoice. We do not take online payments through this website. Payments are completed in our shop unless another arrangement is agreed directly with us.
6. Personalised goods, cancellations and problems
Many of our products are made or personalised to the customer's specification. Cancellation and return rights for personalised goods may differ from those applying to standard goods, subject always to rights provided by law.
If an item is faulty, damaged or not what was agreed, please contact us promptly with the order details and enough information for us to assess the problem. Please give us a reasonable opportunity to inspect the work and put matters right.
7. Customer-supplied garments and materials
We will explain whether we can accept customer-supplied garments or other items before work begins. Decoration and production processes carry some unavoidable risk. Any special arrangement, responsibility or remedy relating to customer-supplied items should be agreed with us before production.
8. Turnaround, collection and delivery
Completion and delivery dates are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise. Timing can change because of artwork approval, customer changes, material availability, supplier delays or events outside our reasonable control. Collection or delivery arrangements will be confirmed for the particular order.
9. Design files and intellectual property
Customers retain rights in material they supply. Unless a quotation expressly agrees otherwise, concepts, working files, templates and original design work created by Gavin O'Dowd trading as Time for Designs remain the property of Gavin O'Dowd. The customer receives the rights needed to use the approved finished work for the agreed purpose.
10. Website design and related services
Website projects are governed by the agreed quotation and scope, including pages, content responsibilities, revision stages, third-party costs, approvals, launch arrangements and any hosting, domain, SSL, backup or maintenance service.
The customer is responsible for the legality and accuracy of supplied content and for approving the website before launch. Additional features or work outside the agreed scope require a further quotation. Renewals and future prices are governed by the quotation or renewal notice applying at that time.
11. Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Any responsibility for loss will be assessed according to the order, the circumstances and applicable law. Customers should tell us promptly about a problem and take reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary additional loss.
12. Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Cookie choices can be changed through Cookie Settings in the website footer.
13. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. If you are a consumer, this does not remove any mandatory protections that apply where you live.
